Listing Policy

You as the user are solely responsible for all information that you provide to us including personal information and ad details. You are responsible for any consequences that may result from your listing. We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse or delete content either temporarily or permanently that we believe breaches our terms of use, listing policy or privacy policy. We also reserve the right at our discretion to at any given time refuse a user’s account registration or classified listing/ad if we feel it has breached any of the terms of use, listing policy or privacy policy.

 

We reserve the right to issue warnings, limit or terminate our service, remove hosted content and take technical and legal steps to keep users off our site if we think that they are creating problems or acting inconsistently with our policies. We may also disclose any information we may have about a user in relation to an investigation or allegation that your use of the sites breaches our terms, or any applicable Australian laws.

Any ad that we believe breaches the following will be removed:

 

  1. An ad that breaches any of our terms of use, listing policy or privacy policy
  2. Breaches of any Australian law. As a condition of your use of our site specified under our terms of use you agree that you will not violate any laws
  3. The item being offered for sale is not allowed to be sold on our site (see list below)
  4. The ad is a duplicate of another ad previously posted
  5. Posted under wrong category
  6. Ads posted in a language other than English.
  7. Ads are for Australian individuals or businesses only (no overseas listings are permitted)
  8. Ad containing external links: No external website links are allowed within your ad
  9. Ads that do not provide enough detail will be placed on hold or removed as this makes for a bad browsing experience
  10. Use inappropriate language
  11. Use inappropriate photo / image
  12. Discriminatory on the ground of race / religion / nationality / gender / etc
  13. Selling or offering services for supplements / medicine generally or pharmaceutical items
  14. Selling body parts / bodily fluids or offering adoption or surrogacy services
  15. Ads that report other fraudulent ads. Please report potentially fraudulent ads via the “report ad” option located within each ad or with ad details (ad id, email address) and reasons why these ads should be reviewed

 

The list below details what can’t be posted on tradiesales.com.au or any site controlled by Tradie Sales Australia under any circumstances:

  1. Stolen goods
  2. Burglary Tools
  3. Counterfeit Products, replicas or knock-off brand name goods
  4. Electronic Surveillance Equipment
  5. Fireworks, Destructive Devices and Explosives
  6. Hazardous Materials including but not limited to radioactive, toxic and explosive materials
  7. Illegal items and services
  8. Illegal telecommunication and electronics equipment
  9. Items issued to any Armed Force that have not been disposed of in accordance with that country’s demilitarization policies
  10. Items which encourage or facilitate illegal activity
  11. Material that is obscene, pornographic, adult in nature, or harmful to minors
  12. Material that infringes copyright, including but not limited to software or other digital goods which you are not authorized to sell
  13. New merchandise or services from network marketing companies, work-from-home, independent franchisees or distributors, or similar representatives
  14. Personal information or mailing lists. We do not accept the sale of bulk email, Internet Protocol (IP), Instant Messenger (IM), or mailing lists that contain names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifying information. Any tools or software designed predominantly to send unsolicited commercial messages (UCE or “spam”) are also not permitted.
  15. Offensive material
  16. Pesticides or hazardous materials
  17. Pictures or images that contain nudity
  18. Plants and insects that are restricted or regulated
  19. Recalled items (for items recalled in Australia, please visit: http://www.recalls.gov.au
  20. Stocks and Other Securities including Bitcoins and related mining equipment
  21. Used or rebuilt batteries or batteries containing mercury
  22. Weapons and related items
